MISG Security and Detective Agency, Inc. (MISG) is one of the newest and fast-growing private security and detective agencies in the Philippines. Founded in 2005 by a group of young business professionals and former military intelligence and police officers, the name MISG was used in reference to the now-defunct Military Intelligence and Security Group to project an image of strength, rigidity, discipline, efficiency, and secrecy in service expertise.
MISG started to provide security to one of the biggest fish manufacturing and canning companies based in Mindanao. To date, it has more than 250 security guards deployed in various manufacturing, trading, transport and delivery, and fishing firms in at least 20 locations in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
